The Beck Family

Researching my paternal grandmother's family has been such a joy because there is just so much information available -- unfortunately, not on the Attaway/Beck line. But that is changing. I recently discovered two Attaway cousins from Sallie Attaway Craig's line that were also searching. Thanks to them, I now have a copy of a 150 year old marriage license, Sallie Craig's death certificate, as well as Craig family bible records which combine to make unquestionable evidence that we are on the right track. We also found Malinda (or Belinda Beck's family in the 1850 census just a page away from JTC Attaway's family. Her parents were John Beck and Nanvy Mier.
