The Brown Family

Trying to trace my Keith line has been very frustrating until just recently. The problem was that my grandfather's (Ivan A. Keith) father left when Ivan was a small boy and all that my mother or Aunt knew of him was that his name was Wiley. I had no luck locating a Wiley Keith anywhere for the longest time. I finally got a likely candidate, but had no way that I could see to confirm one way or the other. Then, I was put in contact with a Keith cousin who had been doing research for about 40 years, and she was able to confirm back three more generations! This confirmation of Greenwood Keith as Wiley's father also confirmed Sarah Brown as his mother. I have not been able to dig up much one her family yet. As time permits, I will update this site with that information.
